A Jefferson Highway entrance had buckled into an ADA liability — cracked slabs, uplifted concrete, and an unsafe path of travel for every patient walking up to the door. Our crew tore it down to dirt, stabilized the subgrade, formed a true code-compliant ramp, and finished it with reinforced concrete and industrial handrails. Built once. Built right. Built to last.
The Challenge
The original sidewalk and door landing had been displaced by invasive tree roots, leaving multiple elevation changes, cracked slabs, and an unsafe path of travel. The entrance no longer met ADA accessibility standards and had become a real safety concern for visitors using the facility.
