Expert Exterior Transformations for Louisiana Homes
Siding, stucco, masonry, and James Hardie board — engineered for Gulf Coast weather and installed by a licensed Louisiana general contractor (#889646).
Exterior works is one of our core service categories — not a side offering. We treat the building envelope as a system and rebuild it the way a licensed general contractor should: siding, trim, flashing, sheathing, and the framing behind them, all coordinated under one accountable contract.
Exterior Scope We Handle
Siding replacement — vinyl, fiber cement, and James Hardie / HardiePlank
Soffit, fascia, and frieze board replacement (vented and solid)
Exterior trim and carpentry — PVC, composite, and wood
Hardie and fiber-cement systems engineered for HardieZone 5
Exterior repairs after rot, termite damage, or water intrusion
Porches, columns, entry details, and exterior restoration
Stucco, masonry, brick, and shutter work
Housewrap, flashing, and substrate repair behind the cladding
Best Fit / Not a Best Fit
Best fit: homeowners planning a full or partial exterior renovation — re-skinning an elevation, replacing rotted trim and soffit on a 1960s ranch, restoring an exterior after termite or water damage, or refreshing the envelope before sale.
Not a best fit: single-panel patches, gutter-only work, or sub-$7,500 handyman repairs. If the project is purely storm-driven and insurance-tied, start there. If the failure is structural, start with structural repairs.
South Louisiana Weather, Moisture & Why Exterior Envelope Work Matters
Between Gulf humidity, wind-driven rain, hurricane season, and the freeze-thaw cycles that have become more frequent across Jefferson Parish and Orleans Parish, exterior cladding works harder here than almost anywhere in the country. Wood trim chalks and rots, vinyl warps off failing fasteners, and cheap caulk joints fail at three to five years. A well-built exterior envelope — properly flashed, properly fastened, and tied into the roof and openings — is the single best moisture defense your home has.
That is why we approach exterior renovation services as envelope work, not finish work. Behind every panel, we inspect sheathing, replace damaged framing, re-detail flashing at roof-to-wall transitions, and reset windows and penetrations to current best practice before the new cladding goes back on.
Decision Factors Homeowners Care About
Cosmetic vs. structural
Faded paint and chalked vinyl are cosmetic. Soft fascia, sagging soffit, blistered trim, and stained sheathing usually point to hidden water or framing damage that needs a licensed contractor — not a painter.
When trim and soffit issues mean more
Rotted soffit and fascia are almost always a downstream symptom — failed drip edge, undersized gutters, or roof flashing problems. We inspect the cause before quoting the cure.
Why licensed management matters
Most siding-only crews legally cannot touch framing, headers, or sheathing they uncover. As a Louisiana general contractor (#889646), we can repair what is behind the wall — see licenses & insurance and our process.
From a single elevation refresh to a full house re-skin, our crews install every major exterior cladding system used in Southeast Louisiana — backed by manufacturer-aligned installation standards.
Vinyl Siding
Durable, low-maintenance siding with dozens of profiles and colors. Insulated options improve energy efficiency and stand up to Louisiana humidity, heat, and storms.
Engineered for the Gulf Coast — moisture-resistant, non-combustible, and impact-rated. The premium choice for homeowners who want the look of wood without the upkeep.
The gold standard in fiber cement. Engineered for HardieZone 5 (the Gulf South), with HardiePlank lap, HardieShingle, and HardiePanel systems backed by a 30-year limited warranty.
Traditional three-coat and modern EIFS stucco systems for new builds, additions, and full re-skins. Properly flashed and drained to handle Louisiana rainfall.
Brick veneer, stone veneer, tuckpointing, and full masonry repairs. We restore historic facades and build new masonry walls that meet local code and architectural review.
PVC and composite trim, vented and solid soffit, aluminum and Hardie fascia. The finishing details that make an exterior project look custom — and stay watertight for decades.
A clear three-step process designed to remove guesswork and deliver an exterior you'll be proud of for decades.

Fence & Gate Replacement — True-Size Cedar Pickets
The existing fence and gate enclosure in Northline, Metairie had reached the end of its service life — moss-stained boards, rotted post bases, split trim at grade, and failed gate hardware leaving the utility wall exposed. Cajun Home Services tore out the failing assembly and rebuilt it with true-size cedar pickets and matched trim profiles to preserve the original architectural detail, installed new heavy-duty gate hardware with decorative strap hinges, and finished the new enclosure with paint to match the adjoining wall.
